Now I know that my makeup skills are pretty awesome already, but for it to be mistaken as the work of a celeb makeup artist? On a day where I thought I looked kind of gross? That’s just out of this world! I hope he doesn’t find it insulting that someone thought little ol’ me was as good as him.
Here’s the quick and dirty low down of my makeup so someone might think you got your makeup done, too -
Face
CoverFX NaturalFX Foundation – It’s my go to for NYC summers when I’m not brave enough to go out bare faced. It covers up everything while looking uber natural, and it’s totally sweat proof.
TheBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer – my “holy grail” bronzer. It’s everything you would ever want in a bronzer – the perfect shade, easy to blend, and looks great on every skin tone. You can use it to contour since it’s matte and use it to fake a tan! Buyer tip – look for deals on their Facebook page. Sometimes they run limited sales on their site or on Hautelook, meaning you can score this for less than $10 if you are vigilant.
Eyes
Youngblood Cosmetics Moulin Rouge Eyeshadow Quad (coming this Fall) – I try to go for a bare eyes but still alluring look all the time, and this eyeshadow quad does that trick. It’s matte and nude but far from boring. The slight coral tint just warms up my eyes without overbearing them. It’s a quad that’ll take you from summer beach days to fall walks in the park.

Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof & Tearproof Eyeliner in Perfect Black Orchid – When wearing orange eyeshadow, pair it with a purple eyeliner to make both colors pop. Orange and purple are complimentary colors, meaning they look damn good next to each other. Don’t trust me? Try it next time!
Lips
COVERGIRL Blast Flipstick Lipcolor in Stunner – Since I was going to see my friend Romy at her Avon event (it was fantastic – full post another day showcasing some of my fav Avon products), I wore the lipstick she gave me! It’s a bright golden coral that stays on all day and gets so many compliments. Go to Duane Reade (best beauty section in a drugstore ever) and pick one or two or a dozen up!
