Had a rare “early” evening so I got to enjoy a great dinner at Flex Mussels complete with the most best donuts in the world! These donuts are freshly fried to order and filled with the most decadent fillings. We tried salted caramel, hazelnut chocolate, cinnamon sugar, and Georgian peach. My fave was a tie between the salted caramel and the hazelnut chocolate. Yum!
Who knew the best donut you’ll ever find in NYC would be at a mussel bar? All you fashionistas in town should definitely find time to check it out.

Awesome goodies! Oh I’ve heard of Flex Mussels! Zac from Top Chef Just Desserts is the pastry chef there (well I don’t know if he still is!), he was my favorite.
